Art Loud

Art Loud is a program hosted by Nuria Rodriguez Riestra for talking about art and ideas, focusing on inner west Sydney, with an ear for all things experimental, social, collaborative, public, amateur, community, queer, activist, strange, outsider, ecological, resistant, indigenous, decolonial, interdisciplinary and unclassifiable taking place in the Skid Row catchment area. My idea is to contribute to the conversation about art as play, as a tool, a basic right,  an archive and a form of communication. Art Loud is about the role of the imagination in healing what’s broken, and about the material aspects of art labour and of thinking through art. Art Loud is also archival avant-garde and experimental sounds and sound experiments. Art as in freedom and connection, Loud as in radio.
